In Loving Memory of
John Olpherts Christie
18 October 1949 – 24 March 2021
It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to advise you of the passing of our chairman and leader, John Olpherts Christie.
After a valiant fight, he lost his battle to cancer and died peacefully in the presence of his much-loved wife and children.
The Directors and staff of J Leslie Smith & Company are deeply saddened by John’s death. The next few weeks will be hard, but we all know that John would have wanted us to continue with his life’s work.
Understanding that we are in the business of performing exceptional and uncompromising client service based on ethical and sound legal principles and knowledge.
We will honor John to the best of our ability.
